TGIF: 11/6/09
Hey guys!
Happy Friday!!! At least it is for me :) Heading to Cloud's house tonight to watch a little Dexter, talk about the redesign, and celebrate
my victory over my co-worker.
There's a lot of good stuff going on on the PTR in regards to achievements! ... the sad part is, as a Fansite, Blizz has forbidden me from talking about them... gotta love it... let's just say there's going to be a couple of new mounts dropped (which I'm sure will earn you a FoS), and also tons of new achievements for the Raids :)
I've been really happy with the amount of talk that's been going on through the comment system here, it's fun to get all these little comments sent to my phone and spying on your conversations :)

So what's going on?
Well, here's the problem...
when we had the server problems yesterday, all the data about our users got corrupt... NO PROBLEM, we have a backup... however, that backup needs to be indexed to go faster...
That's where the problem happened... the db is currently down due to this indexing...
So, that aside... I was asked where you guys can vote on the halloween costumes.

Redesigning WoW-Achievements in every way imaginable
Hey everyone,
So... here's the deal... I'm a great coder. No no, trust me... it's true. ... ok you can stop laughing now...
But When I started this site, I wasn't nearly as good as I am now. Because of that, I didn't have the foresight to envision everything you guys would want on the site.
So I'm going to remedy that.
What do you want on this site? Don't assume anything, if you hate the search, tell me, if you hate the top 10 placement, tell me. I'm going to take any request that's well thought out, seriously.
So tell me about what you'd like to see and let's make this community a BRAZILLIAN times better!

Love waking up to this crap...
My server company had a "power issue" last night, and because of that, a lot of my tables got corrupt or some crap...
They are fixing it now, but that's why nothing works... sorry for the inconvenience, it will be back up as soon as they fix it... ugh

GTA: Dead Man's Party
Hey guys!
So, obvious GTA is obvious. Get
Dead Man's PartyAside from that, isn't the Day of the dead banner awesome?! You know it is.
So, Day of the Dead... easy, a bit of a dissapointment to pet collectors everywhere... but despite many threads being made on the WoW forums last night
here, related to Blizz making the pet permanent.
I am actually inclined to agree with the opposing reasoning... Essentially it goes like this
Guy: Mayk teh pet permnent!
Other Guy: But he's a little guy visiting from the afterlife... that's why he's only around for two days.
Guy: But I wannnnnnts it!
Other Guy: Don't worry, I'm sure Blizz will cave.
Saw about 20 threads like this yesterday and this morning. Probably right.
So how was everyone's Halloween?
We've only had a couple of entries into the
WoW-Screenshot Halloween Costume Contest so your chances of winning are pretty good.

TGIF: 10/30/09
Hey guys and girls (even though "girls don't play WoW"),
So... weekend time. My weekend is going to be FILLED with trick or treating... in fact, it's going to be SO chaulk full of Trick or Treating that I'm gonna get a belly ache! ... (that joke was lame on purpose.)
So, the way I see it, when I get home (around 6:00 p.m.), let's assume I get online at 6:15, I'm going to have until 11:59 p.m. Saturday night to finish trick or treating.
That's 30 ToTs. Plus 1 daily for putting out the fires (getting the daily from the pumpkin) today and tomorrow. So 32 attempts left. Plus, if I'm good I'll get my alts into Headless Horsemans... but I won't include those being as how it's way too dynamic how many you'll be able to get into.
Looks like I won't be sleeping until Sunday Morning :) (Unless of course, I get lucky, then this is all for nothing).
Also, don't forget that the Day of the dead starts on Sunday (1 a.m. on my server, probably yours too!). As I understand it, you just need to go dance with some broad named Catrina. My best guess is that she's going to be in Dalaran (judging by
Bread of the Dead.
For those of you going to Halloween parties this weekend, be sure to get a picture of yourself for
Our Halloween Costume Contest (keep in mind, that we don't want screenshots, we want RL pics of you in your costume... bonus points if you're heavily intoxicated :) (bonus points shall be awarded in "
internets" not actual favoritism when selecting the winner).
Well, that's about it for me until Monday... I'll be posting something on Sunday to tell you where Catrina actually is (but like I said, assume Dalaran).

Hallow's End: Superstitions?
Hey guys!
So as I've been doing the Trick or Treating, I've noticed that ToT is not without it's superstitions... As far as I go, when I trick or treat, I always jump because I believe that it reduces the rate that I get tricked... might be completely false, but /shrug.
So far I'm 7/10 characters with "the Hallowed" title.
Do you guys have any little superstitions?
