Less-Rabi

Achievement: Less-Rabi

Achievement rewards:
Points: 10 Achievement Image

This achievement is one of the hardest achievements to aquire in Glory of the Hero

1. The casting speed is based on how much health Moorabi has left - less health, faster casts. I don't know the exact numbers but it's been said cast time reduces by 1% every 1% of hp he loses. With this theory it would mean 2s cast at 50% and 1s at 25%. The last cast which can still be interrupted without bigger problems, comes around 30-35% hp.

2. The cooldown between casts is also dependant on his health remaining. Again no hard facts of the numbers but at first with full health the cd is around 10 seconds. Below 50% hp it will be around 4-6s.

3. Moorabi CAN use Transformation even while the players are still under the effects of Quake. I'm not sure if this is only due to a server lag but in any case, this doesn't happen very often and generally it's nothing to worry about.

4. The boss is immune to all cast time increasing effects and to silence effects. Ie. Silence or Strangulate doesn't interrupt his cast.

5. He can be counterspelled.

6. He can be interupted with Hammer Of Justice.

7. He uses his AoE stun randomly and its just bad luck if it happens at the same time as a transform.

8. If you fail you dont have to wipe, you can run out and survive.

How to pull this off:

1. Bring 4 DPS and one tank, a fully specced healer isn't really needed if you have a well-geared tank. Some might even consider bringing 5 DPS if tanking isn't a problem. If you do take a tank, I suggest a DK, Non-prot warrior, or a Ret Pally.

2. Have as many interrupts as possible without hurting you DPS - again, no silences work.

3. Interruption of the casts gets harder after 50% so before 35-45%, the fight is rather irrevelevant except you should refresh any long time dots/skills before it so you don't have to do it when it's time for m4d DPS. Your goal is have an interrupt as close as possible to 30%.

4. Use interrupts so that there are as many interrupts as possible available for the "last" interrupt which should come around 30-35% - the latter, the better. Meaning rotate short cd interrupts for the first casts so the ones with longer cd (HoJ, Spell Lock etc.) are available later on.

5. Do some sick damage after the "last" interrupt because afterwards, interrupting becomes pure lottery - it is possible but it needs luck and anticipation. Use every cooldown you can now (Heroism at 40% preferably to get it rolling), you'll definitely will need them.

Skills to use to interupt him: (keep in mind that slowing effects like Curse of Tounges and Slow don't work)

Druid - Maim
Death Knight - Mind Freeze
Mage - Counterspell,
Paladin - Hammer of Justice
Rogue - Kick, Fan of Knives with Throwing Specialization
Shaman - Earth Shock
Warrior - Pummel

If everything went well, he dies. If you lack the dps, he will probably transform at < 5%, die to dots shortly after and you have to come again the next day.
