1.  On Metzen!
Horde VersionMetzen the Reindeer - 10 Achievement Image
Alliance VersionMetzen the Reindeer - 10 Achievement Image

Requirements: Level 40

Description: This quest has two different versions. The horde version, which is completed in Tanaris, and the Alliance version which is completed in Burning Steppes.
All you have to do is save Metzen the Reindeer from the Dark Iron dwarves. They are only around level 40 so they won't be hard for most of us, but if you are around level 40, you will want to bring a couple friends, as it's easy to be swarmed by the dwarves.

2.  Scrooge
Horde VersionScrooge - 10 Achievement Image
Alliance VersionScrooge - 10 Achievement Image

Requirements: Snowball

Description: Real simple. Go to either Thunderbluff or Ironforge and smack your respective leaders in the face with a snowball.

3.  'Tis the Season

Requirements: 3 Articles of clothing and the Fruitcake.
Red Winter Hat
Green Winter Hat
Red Winter Clothes
Green Winter Hat
Winter Boots
Graccu's Mince Meat Fruitcake

Description: This may prove to be more difficult than it seems. The Red Winter Hat and the Green Winter Hat are drops off of bosses, and it's being speculated that these will not drop off of Outland bosses or Azeroth bosses. I will update this when I learn which bosses drop the hats. The clothes and boots are made by tailors and leatherworkers respectively. If you have one of these professions at 250 or above you will be sent these patterns by Greatfather Winter.

4.  Simply Abominable
Horde VersionSimply Abominable - 10 Achievement Image
Alliance VersionSimply Abominable - 10 Achievement Image

Requirements:
Stolen Winter Veil Treats - Map (He looks like a snowman)
You're a Mean One... - Map
A Smokywood Pastures' Thank You!

Description: This quest takes you into Alterac Mountains to kill The Abominable Greench, but first you must talk to the Strange Snowman. He gives you a quest to kill The Abominable Greench. Once he is dead, return to either Orgrimmar or Ironforge depending on your faction, and speak to Greatfather Winter.

5.  Bros. Before Ho Ho Hos'
Horde VersionBros. Before Ho Ho Ho's - 10 Achievement Image
Alliance VersionBros. Before Ho Ho Ho's - 10 Achievement Image

Requirements:
Cold Weather Flying (Horde only - or a friend to summon you to Icecrown)

Description: Well, the Alliance have it easier in that their "Brothers" aren't in as obscure places, but the Horde have much fewer "Brothers" to find. Essentially, what you need to do is find the "Brothers" and throw Mistletoe at them. You get Mistletoe by /kissing a Winter Reveler which can be found in any major city.

Alliance Version - Alliance Suggested Path (Written by Aristodamos on Wowhead)

1. Start at Goldshire. Brother Wilhelm is standing at the back entrance of the Blacksmith
2. Ride to Stormwind's Cathedral
3. Brother Kristoff stands next to the statue at the Cathedral Square
4. Get inside the Cathedral
5. Brother Benjamin is walking up and down behind the right pillars
6. Brother Joshua is standing at the end of the corridor
7. Brother Cassius is inside the right room
8. Brother Crowley is at the entrance of the RIGHT catacombs. That's next to the entrance of the room Brother Cassius was.
9. Take the Gryphon to Rebel Camp, Stranglethorn Vale
10. Brother Nimetz is at the west side of the Rebel camp
11. Take the Gryphon to Booty Bay, Stranglethorn Vale
12. Take the Boat to Ratchet, The Barrens
13. Take the Gryphon to Theramore, Dustwallow Marsh
14. Brother Karman is supervising the Practicing Guards (Theramore Combat Dummies) - he's between the "A" and the "M" on the map. Right next to the entrance of the north-east building
15. Take the Gryphon to Nijel's Point, Desolace
16. Brother Anton is standing at the balcony of the Inn

Alliance Version - Horde Suggested Path

1. Start in the Undercity, Brother Malach is in the War Quarter.
2. Take the Zepplin to The Borean Tundra and find Durkot Wolfbrother in the Warsong Hold near the stables.
3. Proceed to Icecrown (or be summoned) and find Brother Keltan on the Airship that flies around Icecrown.

6.  He Knows If You've Been Naughty

Requirements: None

Description: Open a present under the Winter Veil Tree, either in Orgrimmar or Ironforge. You are able to complete this quest even at level 1.

7.  With a Little Helper from My Friends

Requirements: Turn into a Winter helper using a Winter Woldervolt Machine outside Orgrimmar or Ironforge.

Description: Without a doubt, one of the harder achievements this year. A lot of speculation about if Blizzard will allow this buff to persist through death or through shapeshifting has been being talked about. We'll just have to see. Basically, just enter battlegrounds and get 50 honorable kills (don't have to be killing blows keep in mind), so this shouldn't be too hard.

8.  Fa-la-la-la-Ogri'la
Requirements:
Level 70 Fresh Holly or Preserved Holly
Neutral with Ogri'la
A flying mount

Description: This whole Achievement is going to be the killer. Only people above level 70 can do it, as well as being Neutral with Ogri'la. If you haven't done the quests that allow you to be neutral, I suggest waiting until the Holiday starts, as It's hard to get a group to kill all of the Gronn before that.

Also, I found a bit of a... creative use of game mechanics... if you will :)
If you put the bomb for the quest as slot #1 on your action bar and fly over a stack of fel bombs (what you are supposed to blow up), and repeatedly click the target area and hit #1 with your finger while targeting the fel bombs, you will throw your bomb, but the targeting area will remain up, and allow you to throw a second bomb which makes it so you don't have to wait for the cooldown. Obviously this is a bug, so use it at your own risk, however, I figured I'd let you guys know about it :)

9.  Crashin' & Thrashin'

Requirements: Crashin' Thrashin' Racer

Description: You get this item from the presents left under the tree for you. It appears all you need to do is slam into other cars and blow them up.

Here's a video

10.  Let It Snow

Requirements: Handful of Snowflakes

Description: Throw a Handful of Snowflakes at each of the races / classes below.

Orc Death Knight
Tauren Shaman
Undead Rogue
Gnome Mage
Blood Elf Warlock
Human Warrior
Night Elf Druid
Troll Hunter
Dwarf Paladin
Draenei Priest

11.  The Winter Veil Gourmet

Requirements:

325 Cooking
Recipe: Egg Nog
Recipe: Gingerbread Cookie
Recipe: Hot Apple Cider

Description: Cook the three Winter Veil foods which you can get from Wulmort Jinglepocket (Alliance) or Penney Copperpinch (Horde) You will want to have 325 cooking before the Winter Veil starts, as I'm sure mats to level cooking will skyrocket and areas will be being farmed for meat. Other than that, if you have over 325 cooking already then the hardest part will be getting Small Egg as it has been a pain to get at the last minute for the last few years.

12.  A Frosty Shake
Requirements:
Winter Veil Disguise Kit
Snowball

Description: Simple, just /dance with another snowman AS a snowman while in Dalaran. While you can't use the teleportation crystal to get into Dalaran until you hit level 74, you can be summoned into Dalaran at any level, so you may need a friend who can summon.
